Spring changes..

That God once loved a garden we learn in Holy writ.
And seeing gardens in the Spring I well can credit it.

The Woodman and I have been busy in our yard these past weeks.
 Our Aussie Springtime has brought abundant growth to many trees and plants and the garden is a very fragrant place to be right now!

Our fruit trees are looking promising this year - which is a blessing to see.

 Praise the Lord - so far there is no sign of the pear and cherry slug which decimated them last season.

We have made some changes to the look and function of some areas, and are having fun with paint as you can see :-)

This is a view of the side of our garage and carport area which was very dull and dominated by an old buddlia tree that overshadowed everything.

We decided to remove it and open up the space around it for more vegie garden beds.
It's made a big difference to this spot as the garage wall now recieves more warm northern sun along it.

We went "mad" last Saturday and painted the wall and carport siding vivid white!!
It certainly looks a lot brighter out there now..so bright that we are thinking of toning the white down a little bit to a chalky cream.

We had a lovely full moon the other night and the white garage wall was lit up so much I could've read a book by the moonlight on it, lol!
It's been fun tinkering around the yard and making changes.
Next weekend we will work on planting out the vegie patch and herb boxes.
Spring is such a wonderful season for making things "new" again!

The year's at the spring
And day's at the morn;
Morning's at seven;
The hillside's dew-pearled;
The lark's on the wing;
The snail's on the thorn;
God's in His heaven -
All's right with the world!
